UAC Seeks to One Day Set October 10 a National Holiday
On October 10th of every year the United American Committee recognizes a great event which took place nearly 1,300 years ago that the UAC believes is quite possibly solely responsible for the preservation of Western society.
In the 500s A.D. Jordan, Syria, Egypt and the surrounding regions were Christian civilizations just as Europe was. In the 600s Islamic armies spread throughout the land converting all by the sword and bringing forth the middle east as it is known today. The armies did not stop at conquering the middle east, they headed into Europe setting out to turn the entire world into a global Islamic caliphate. October 10, 732 AD, 100 years after the death of Mohammad, marked the turning point in which the marauding Islamic armies were sent in retreat from Europe with their leaders slain by the victorious Charles Martel of what is now France. The United American Committee recognizes this day and encourages all to celebrate this great victory for civilization. It is widely believed, and refuted by few, that had it not been for the victory on that day at the Battle of Tours that Europe would have been established under the Islamic caliphate of Umayyad, a dynasty which around the same time had conquered Afghanistan, Morocco, and many other regions which they converted to Islam. The Western culture would have never evolved as we know it today, and would instead have followed the path of evolution as much of the Middle East and southern Asia such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran have. For those reasons, the UAC seeks to one day set the date of October 10th as a widely celebrated national holiday declared as 'Charles Martel Day'.
