Support Urged For Convicted Border Patrol Agents
(WASHINGTON, DC, 1/22/07) - Today the United American Committee calls upon its members to support convicted Ex U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean who were relieved as Border Patrol agents, convicted, and sent to federal prison for shooting a drug smuggler crossing the U.S.-Mexican border. The UAC is asking its members and the American people to call the White House and respectfully ask President Bush to pardon the two agents. CA Jewish Group Urged Not to Cave to Islamist Pressure
(LOS ANGELES, CA, 1/22/07) – The radical Council on American Islamic Relations slammed a California Jewish group today in an effort to silence one of their primary opponents. Radio talk show host Dennis Prager is scheduled to speak at the North County Chabad Center in Yorba Linda, California on January 24th, an individual who the radical Council has labeled an “Islamophobe” for his concerns regarding the swearing in of Representative Keith Ellison, a Muslim, on the Koran when Ellison took his oath of office for the U.S. Congress. The United American Committee has stepped forward in support of Dennis Prager and his right to free speech, and has asked its members in the past to support Prager when he first came under attack by the radical CAIR. UAC-CA To Begin Monthly Townhall Style Meetings to Confront Islamism
(CAMP PENDLETON, CA, 1/22/07) – The United American Committee will begin holding monthly strategy meetings in Southern California to confront the issue of Islamic militancy in America. The meetings are open to all UAC members. The first meeting will be held Monday, February 5th at 7:00 PM in the South Orange County / North San Diego County area. Those who live in Southern California are urged to attend these monthly meetings the first Monday of every month. Those outside of Southern California but who have contacts with individuals in the regions are urged to spread the message.
