A followup on the August 16th 2007 mixer against radical Islam:
The UAC mixer was an excellent and wonderfully successful event against Islamofascism, one of the first of its kind. On August 16th 2007 in Southern California, members and supporters filled the room mingling and networking at an Orange County restaurant discussing strategies against radical Islam over appetizers and drinks. Guest speakers Rabbi Nachum Shifren and Mike Azer enlightened the crowd and inspired us with their first hand experiences. Rabbi Shifren discussed multiculturalism and intimidation within our own borders. Mike Azer, who hails from a Christian Egyptian background, gave us an amazing perspective of what he saw first hand happen in Egypt with Islamist intimidation against the Christians there, and what can and will happen to a future America if we do not take action. The mixer was proudly sponsored by Financial Group LLC with their wonderful support of the United American Committee. It was a very uplifting event, and we hope to inspire similar mixers across the nation very soon. |
